Texas is BIG. Miles and miles of miles and miles. An Aussie would be comfortable there. None of the snakes make the most deadly top 20 list. Most of the poisonous ones are polite. They rattle to warn you off.

1) Wear a hat that looks like it might be a cowboy hat.

2) Speak with a funny accent.

3) Remember to say ranch instead of station.

4) Never, ever say "SHEEP"
