Comet (both 16 & 32) has allowed tabs through no matter what file ctl= you do. This has been in place for years, since I could not find the relevant code in comet 16. I also wrote a test program and it produced the same results in c16 whether I executed that file ctl or not.

In C32, there was a problem with sending ctl= commands to a data file. This will be fixed in the next release.
