Comet Startup - copy file

A while back I asked if it was possible to add some files to be copied upon Comet startup (when we run Comet.exe). I believe it was never resolved and we added a copyfile section in QSTARTX.

It worked for a while using $(CATEMP), until Comet start using a different folder. The current folder looks a lot like Windows' %TEMP% folder.

Question:

1) Can we use Comet.exe to deliver executables & DLLs to the Comet folder?

If not,
2) Can we resolve Windows/DOS paths like '%TEMP%' or use this in CopyFile?
