Some additional "Comet PDF" experiments.

1) installed "Comet PDF" on a Win2008 server. Works fine. pdfFactory was annoying because you had to buy a different version.

2) Win2008 will let you share the printer. But, you get a Windows error on the workstations.

FWIW - shame on whoever put the space in "Comet PDF" :)
