Barb,
Loaded Comet453 and Rel/Utl1200 in the evening of 01/18/2012.
Got an error at 9.51 on 01/19/2012.
Attached C32Errors, Cfam, Comet logs and CoscErrors Crash dump from Citrix1.
C32Errors crash dump is zero bytes.
Still no additional lines in C32Errors.
Event viewer for 01/19/2012 showed application error on Ad-Comet at 9.51.59.
Faulting application CFileSrv.exe module CfileSrv.exe.
On Citrix1 at 9.51.12 faulting application cosc.exe module cosc.exe.
Sometimes the faulting module is NTDLL.dll.
Cfam.log for 19.01.2012 shows initiating logout at 9.51.07 and a socket error at 9.52.01.
No dropouts or application errors in Event Viewer for 01/20/2012.
Is this a hardware/network issue? It seems to be the Citrix servers with the CAW sessions that initiate the problems.
Both are connections to remote sites. The in-house Comet workstations all appear fine.
Do CfileSrv, Cfam and cosc have timeout settings that could cause a dropout on a slow line speed?
I have CFileSrv running as a service on both Citrx servers and the Comet shortcuts point to and
start in a shared Comet folder in the C drive on each server.
I set this some time ago as it seemed to give a more stable connection than pointing to Ad-Comet.
When we have this problem, a reload of Comet on Citrix or sometimes a reboot fixes the problem.
All runs fine for the rest of the day.
I appreciate that you guys are not big fans of Citrix but any help would be appreciated.
Doug
