COMET 32 XAP - HIT COUNTER

Running Comet32 2011 Build .457/12.03

Launched XAPMON locally on my Windows Vista workstation.
Total Hits displays as 30 and XAPMON is recording a Hit every second even though I have not tried to run an XAP Application.
Is this normak for Comet 32?

Comet 16 does not display hits before an XAP app is run.
