When the workstation installation program was written, the idea was that if you were running Comet in a network, you'd run the workstation.exe on the server - even if you never intend to run Comet on the server. This would install the Comet executables in the target folder that all the workstations would access. Then, you'd also have to run it on each workstation to install all the .dlls and you'd tell it that you would be running Comet on another system which had previously been installed. Now, when we come up with an update, you'd think you'd only have to rerun the install on the server to update the Comet executables. That is probably true most of the time. The only time you'd have to rerun it on each of the workstations is if we had updated any of the .dlls. What we need to do, is find a way to alert you to this situation so you know if you have to update the workstations also. Perhaps just a note in the release documentation will be enough.
