I modified a rather large program last week and I encountered some bizarre behaviors...
After successfully compiling the program, I had an error on some LUNs, so I checked all of my SET statements in all the INCLUDE files to identify the culprit. Found it and fixed it. What I did not expect is that I found 2 SET statements for the same variable with different values...
I don't think this was the result of my program being too big, even if the locals & constant exceed 56K (51298+9448 and 5586 for Formats). The whole thing is 127,988 from a source of 11,541 lines.
I also encountered a weird run time error:
Program: ENRL
An unhandled exception (4) has occured
attempt Print on LUN 99
opcode94)
Program Address (0000e462)
Keyed file write without index
This error is weird, LUN 99 is my Windows printer and it was half way thru the 4th page of my report. Code was a (SetTextAlign=TA.LEFT)...
This error went away after I rebooted the system ?? I also changed the printer LUN to 98, just in case...
This was tested using Windows XP Comet32 2011.454
