I read what Grant had written about COSWGLOB.INI, and it worked like a charm for my benchmark of converting 2000+ QSPOOL files to PDF archives
a question came up about printing directly to Green-Bar Line Printers
my Green-Bars on my PROD system are set up as:
[PRINTERS]
Printer = LP1,W ,N, ,OKI3952:RAW,,;
Printer = LP2,W ,N, ,OKI321:RAW,,;
Printer = LP5,W ,N, ,OKI395:RAW,,;
I think that the default is/should be? 10 CPI
I was wondering if the COSWGLOB.INI settings for my PDF output will override this to make narrow (17CPI) printing on my green-bar printers
I sort of have to jump into the deep end of the pool since I have no printers of any kind on my TEST system and I do everything (now) with PDF and TXT spool archives.
