Comet Authorization problem with Imaged PC’s

We are attempting to image (disk cloning) PC’s to cut the time to load/install software on new computers.
The problem that we have is all of the imaged PCs have the same System ID#. We cannot individually assign a new system ID# for each one and once the first one is activated, all are activated.
Is there a way around this? How is the System ID generated and what can we do to generate a different number?
