Accessing non-configured directories

I am trying to create a dynamic DAB using ACCESS. It appears that the Dir Pathname is limited to 64 characters. Is this true and, if so, is there any way around it?

Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
