FYI, the base OS on my RI server is VMWare ESXi and I'm very happy with it. I have six VMs configured - W2008 R2, Win7 64-bit, Win7 32-bit and three Linux VMs. VSphere Client on my desktop and I can connect to all 6 with ease.
