Yes, I figured as much. I was tricked because most of the staff run the same program's on each screen all day every day and I hadn't done any compiles for hours and then suddenly one machine came u with the dreaded we can't run that tpe of program. For some reason she had had to restart her pc.
I know we have discussed this on the forum before but is there any easy wa to check what program's are c32 and which not. Was there something when you enter your password.
It has potential to be dangerous if you do a lot of your work remotely, customer upgrades the pc you come in on and dont tell you it's win7.
In saying all that, I reckon I am very close to taking them to c32, I have not really found many problems and they are accepting doc manager reasonably well. Mind you it was the bull zip printer that killed the pc that caused the win7 upgrade. It just would not work, weird system crashes, my thanks to doug Pegg for talking me through that one. It was an old p4, xp machine and just couldn't handle it.
