The biggest issue we run into is that all banks do not handle the ACH file the same way. We have had to add flags that cause the file to be created differently for each customer. The process is stright forward, with the standard ACH file, and there is detailed information available about record formats. We have added direct pay to Accounts Payable, direct deposit to Payroll, and direct charge to our Utility billing system.
