From the wiki:
CometDate Function
Syntax: CometDate(Month, Day, Year)

"The numeric arguments, Month, Day and Year are not checked for validity. Physical errors will not result from insane day-month combinations like the 87th day of the 45th month, but the results will obviously not make much sense."

could you put the following on the "wish list":

CometDate Function
Syntax: ValidDate(Month, Day, Year, ValidFlag)

which would
(1) convert the 3 numeric arguments to a comet date
(2) convert back to the three numeric arguments
(3) compare and return a numeric validflag with a value (1.0) of 1=valid, 0=invalid)

This is something we have to do "all the time" and would IMHO simply be bringing together existing COMET code.

Thanx

P.S. yes, I will concede... it's always "Simply bringing together" when someone else is "Simply bringing together"
