It really doesn't matter what size. Its a text file, so record size is determined by the carriage return/line feeds in the file. There is a field in the qdir that had to have something in it, so when we implemented text files, we stuck 1024 in it. Later, in Comet32, we changed that to 8000. But, it is ignored in any case.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
