setting colours in a .ini file

I tried to change the .CFG files to show the entry fields as "5F" (white on a magenta backround) so that the users testing with the new server would immediately know that, as Dorothy said, "Toto, I don't think this is Kansas anymore"

the results:

1)SYSGEN'ed the attached .ini file.... but didn't seem to change the colours

2)did not knowingly specify the path in the .ini file, but got DOS_ERROR_3(path error)... after manually deleting the .CFG files, SYSGEN proceeded correctly

any ideas on why I:
1) didn't see my white on magenta
2) got the DOS path error
