I heartily agree that the #FILES were very much a mess... so, I had to "reverse engineer" some of the CFILES from the formats... especially for the "de-IMAGEed" files, where I had to re-compute the offsets ("confiteor"... I confess... that this is a lazy way to do it)
unfortunately, this caused a few problems with name mis-matches (e.g. DESC instead of DESCRIPTION), and I also got slowed done by some ignorance of where the "LINK" definitions were... I kept thinking it was on the REPORTER side, not, of course, on the CFILES side.
After I cut over to the new Server, I'll make time to try out the REPORTER further, especially since we can now sort on the values from the linked to files... I think that will come in hand at reducing some IB programming of utility programs.
