I just looked at this. Basically, you purchase a "USB Hub", connect your USB devices to it, configure it on your LAN, and your virtual machines think that those USB devices are connected directly.

I was thinking that this would be a great solution to augment our Security server talking to the dongle.

BUT.... the lowest cost for a USB hub looks like $297. The solution of just putting the dongle on a spare xp box or some other spare (old) computer, installing the security server on it, and pointing all of the comets to it for security would cost less and still get Comet security benefits. You could also plug in other devices like printers and share them on the network.

Am I missing something here?
