I discovered the hard way that the Comet 32 SQL CONNECT does not like special characters in the password.
I tried to connect to a Linux server running MySQL and the connection was rejected every time. Oddly I could connect from the same computer using the same credential using SQLYOG. After creating a new MySQL user with a simple password, I was able to connect from Comet.
This was tested with Comet 2011.452 and Comet 2012.465
Also... GETLASTERROR control does not supply the Error number. Is there a way to retrieve both the mysql_errno() and the mysql_error()?
Can we pass commands directly to MySQL to retrieve the info ourselves?
