As far as naming the POOTOO, it is your call. I have the habit of having unique terminal numbers for each [NODE]. This is because in my software I use the TERM$ to create temporary work/sort files (WorkFileName$ = 'WORK-'+TERM$). This was before we had the TMP folder that was unique to each user and would self-clean at each restart of Comet. It also makes logs easier to read when it says a unique terminal number instead of all T00.

Number range is form T00 to T99 and/or 001 to 999. (Or is it 9999 ?) For good practice, I always start at 100. I also use a different hundred range for each department and keep 900's for XAP.

Any good practice is good as long as it works for you and you use it consistently and keep room to grow.
