OK so my "holy grail" was nothing but an empty cup... I think this is what you want to do:
(CopyFile) the text doc to a Comet folder using a short filename for the destination file.
Do a Comet CREATE for the text file to get the QDIR entry made. You'll get E13 which just tells you the DOS file is already there.
Open the file then do a READ loop to print and look for the (FF) indicator.
Then erase the temp file.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
