is the width of a print line specified anywhere?

Had same print program for pick slips for at least 2 years.

they get faxed to home office every morning...they're all the same for all the warehouses except one that was upgraded to a new Win7 machine.

now seems to have a wrap at 80 characters with the result that the 81st character (which always printed) now prints all alone on the second line... this expands the vertical layout of the printing from one to two pages.... the vertical lines are determined by counting lines....

just can't seem to see where the column wrap/margin is coming from. As a test, swapped back the old WinXP machine for a test and it prints the 81st column where it's always printed it... at the end of the line

the only definition of a printer for the remote/CA warehouse sites is:

Printer = LP1,W,N,,#,,;

any ideas? Thanx!
