font installed?

Is there a way for comet to determined if a font has been installed? I am working on a form that has a couple of non-standard fonts that require installation. I would like to be able to test to see if a font is present before printing a couple of hundred pages and discover that a default font was used instead of the requested font. This program will be running on both full comet and comet anywhere sessions.
