I don't see the email.log file here. Did you get one? It is called email.log in the comet cos directory. Since it is cycled, you should be able to look at email1.log email2.log etc to see each email that went out.

My guess without seeing the log file is that the email server is looking for some login information (user name/password). Since you use the silent command, the error is not displayed, but the log file should tell us everything we should need to know.
