XAP test on laptop W7

I'm trying to get XAP to run on my Windows 7 laptop. It works OK on my desktop using 127.0.0.1. My laptop does not seem to recognize that address. I need to demo some changes that I don'w want on the server yet. Any help would be appreciated.
