I am pretty sure that your connection to the server was just lost for some reason and you were disconnected.

Unfortunately, there is no way for you to change the timeout programmatically.

That said, I would be happy to make a special copy of emailptr for your testing with any timeout you desire. Let me know how many seconds to make it, and I will put a special version of emailptr in download/mailboxes for you.
