Hello everyone,

I am having a very strange problem at a customer of ours. Comet is not
finding the comet cfg file as defined in the Comet short cut on the desktop
and therefore erroring on the work stations with No Comet Directories found.
It is attempting to open the REL, UTL, COS, and RAM directories in the WD
path (in this case "k:\\"). The mapping is correct and Comet finds COS,
COSC, H, etc. but apparently is having some sort of problem finding or
opening the cfg files. I can see them in the explorer on those pc's, but
Comet simply skips them as if they were not there. I killed their local
anti-virus programs and have been through it over and over again, but can't
seem to figure out what is going on there. Any ideas?

Note: Just upgraded them to Comet 2003 ver 325, rel & utl 0304 and the
latest comet sec32 system. They are a three user system (no file system) and
I upgraded them this afternoon, because they were reporting the system was
timing out and running extreamely slow. Comet runs on the Server just fine
using a cfg file. Maybe an un-detected virus??

Looking for ideas.

Thanks

Jim Barbaruolo
