DocMgr problems

1) Customer uses extensive security to control DocMgr. He also uses Spooler forwarding. So, a payroll clerk in WA (CAW) goes on vacation. The substitute, also in WA (CAW), under her non-payroll password, begins entering data. When she prints to SPL, redirected to LAL, the reports never reach DocMgr. Understandable, as the substitute clerk doesn't have access to C:\COMET\SPL\SPL. Shouldn't Comet give an error??? Device or something unavailable???

2) Customer's IT guy gets a call from the clerk and finds the PDF's in the CAW Host's AutoSave folder. He copies the PDF's into his Documents folder and begins to import the PDF's back into an empty DocMgr archive (S23). As previously reported, DocMgr fills the date with 24/24/24 and the time with 24:24:24. He puts today's date in the clipboard and pastes in the date for each import. For the first eight or so records he uses 08:09:00 as the time. DocMgr accepts the time. For the next eight or so he switches to 09:10:00, DocMgr ignores the entered date and uses his PC's clock time. Then mysteriously switches back to accepting the entered date.

He has fifty imports and called me half way thru.
