two questions about (LAUNCH) mnemonic

1) is it possible to LAUNCH a .bat file?

2) what kind of description do I need for the return code:
i.e. PRINT (LAUNCH=....)
INPUT ReturnCode
is ReturnCode something like LENGTH 254 & LOCAL ReturnCode?
