This happened at Rogers and Goffigan to a user with a Win 7 64 bit pc.
R & G is running Comet 32 2011 460/12.10 and yes we will schedule an upgrade.

On Tuesday this user worked in Comet all day long. On Wednesday user got the following COSW error

The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b). Click OK to Close Application.

The first thing I noticed was that the /PN had 2 equal signs (ex /pn==ginnie).

I removed one of the equal signs but still could not launch Comet.
I then renamed the 5 "cosw.in' files on the C Drive but still could not launch Comet.

I changed the Target in the Short Cut from

J:\comet\comet.exe /pn=ginnie to
j:\comet\cosw.exe /pn=ginnie

and Comet now launches for this user.

The other users have a Target of j:\comet\comet.exe ....

What happened.
