For Windows Surface Pro running Windows 8, you'd need Comet 2013 if you wanted to run a full Comet. Note you'd probably want to get your Comet license security from another computer since there's only one USB port on it. For CometAnywhere on the same tablet I'd expect you could run with a Comet 2012 host.
