I have a problem with an end-user. Actually two problems. The user is running on a 64-bit Win7 PC and is running the current release of Comet. The first issue is that comet.exe won't run. It generates a Windows error message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)" When the shortcut is changed to cosw.exe it does start Comet properly. The second issue is that the (Document = ) mnemonic fails. I have a test program that prints to the pdfFactory printer and then does a (Document = ) to place the file in the COS folder. The pdfFactory part works fine, I see the pdf in the Autosave folder. However the file never winds up in COS. Is there any way to view what's going on with the (Document = ) mnemonic? I checked Cfam.log and comet.log and neither gave me any info pertinent to the issue.
