You can do it with CometEx.
Typically, I'll rename the old file and add a "~" to the front. Then, copy it back with CometEx with the new file size.
Comet will fill the expanded area with blanks.
Once I know the "~" file is of no use, I'll delete it.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
