Sounds like a Firewall problem.
In Programs/Admin programs, run "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security".
Set up both an Inbound and Outbound rule for Comet and give complete freedom (All, Any, etc) for ports 11750-11759.
You might have to do something similar at the workstations.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
