Thanx Grant!

I've opened a random .pdf file, saved it with a short name (g:\r.d.acker\launch.pdf) and then re-tried

worked the first time... but returned a "FuncError" of 42

looks like I've gotta try to dump the name via HEXASC to see if there's anything very strange in the file names.

using a bogus name, with a bogus folder name (i.e. 1 level for each), it works.

When I was testing (FileCopy) didn't have to append a "@00@" on the end.... hope it's not something like that here

BTW.... dumped the full name (path\file) before executing the (Launch).... at least _THAT_ wasn't the problem (first time I tested it, I didn't put the "\" between the Path and the File)

Thanx much (just like every other time!)

Bob "A"
