is window size constrained by the screen size?

Must I do something like the following to display a window with a large amount of data (120,16) from a regular (SCREEN=85,32)?

I've currently got the screen set to 120/32 to test out the window, all the time, but it looks kinda goofy.... should it be more like this:

PRINT (SCREEN=120,32)
PRINT (Create Window=5,2,120,16)
do my window stuff
PRINT (SCREEN=85,32)

I just don't want the screen to be making the operator dizzy because it's expanding and then collapsing...
