I don't believe the PC O/S was the issue. I believe the version of
Comet the remote user had was the issue. Henry Calvin was upgrading
from Comet2K2 to Comet2K4. Therefore the remote users were on C2K2,
C2K or C98. I'm going to guess that it was C2K2 but I'm not sure.
We got around the problem by posting the zipped version of C2K4 334,
the last zipped version before WorkstationInstall, on our website.
The remote user downloaded this, unzipped it and the update then
ran through with no problem. Hope this helps, Tom.
