Reinstalling the same Comet release wouldn't help. From what I've found, this error is related to corrupt or incorrect registry settings for some Microsoft products such as IE or Office. Newer versions of Comet do not use VB6 and so may not have this problem. However you are licensed only to run certain versions of Comet. If you identify the name of this customer I can tell you if they are licensed for products newer than 2007. Email me privately if you do not wish to disclose this publicly.
