that's the way it's worked when we were using QSPOOL (i.e. until now)

now... what I find in # is:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\CATEMP

truth to tell... I only looked at the first 40 bytes but they matched.

I've got a workaround, and must keep this in mind in case other programs start misbehaving in strange ways
