Maybe time to look at one of the Internet "fax" services. I've tested with efax.com.
You email the service the fax as a PDF attachment. The "To" can be either a phone number or an email address. WAY EASIER :)
And, generally, most recipients are happier with a high quality (and color) PDF in their Inbox than a low quality (B&W)fax.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
