Comet Anywhere - doing CA Update

If I am running a Comet session on my workstation on Server A and launch a Comet Anywhere session whose host is on Server B and the Comet versions on the two servers are different, CA Update kicks in and create all kinds of commotion. Is there a way to keep this from happening besides getting both servers on the same Comet release)?
