in my case, I have a standard set of Error Reporting Print formats in a .INC file.... there are many lines with the word ERROR as in ERROR.HEADER.FMT which seem to trick UE/COMPILE32 into finding these are errors

I've had as many as 5 errors... but when I check the COMETEX entry for the object module, it's got today's date and time... indicating that it's OK.... verifying the .LST file with ERRORS 0 at the end
