We have an end-user who just hired a new, in-house IT guy. He gave me a call yesterday with an issue that I hadn't encountered before and wanted to find out what's up. We always assign profile names in the Comet desktop icons in order to keep things straight in terms of terminal numbers as we used terminal numbers in work file names. Don't want any erase/create exceptions on the same file names. This new IT guy had eliminated all /pn= switches from the Comet icons so that a profile name was selected prior to startup. He was calling because he was getting a "License not available" message on startup when Security Server said licenses were available. It turns out that this message is displayed when a profile name that is currently in use is selected by another user. Is that the case? I know that if the /pn= switch specifies the same profile name on different PCs that they do secure up properly and start up with the same terminal numbers. Why does it work differently if the profile name is selected from the dialog box?
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
