Hmmm... OK please try one more time. After it crashes look in the folder you specified as the work directory. It's TMP by default. See if there's a file in there called QDRxx, where xx is a number. This is the file it uses to build the new QDIR before replacing the original. I'm wondering if it crashes when it gets to a specific file or right away. Also, can you successfully build any other directory?
