In the attached code snippet I am doing a sql query on a MySQL database pulling out order # and tracking # from a table populated by the Shipping PC. The Control statement as coded works. If I instead set the string variable that's currently commented out and use that as result$ = Control(SqlLun, SQLCMND$) I get an error 45, Invalid Parameter. Can I not use a string variable as the control-string argument? Does the File (lun) CTL= accept only a string constant and not a string variable?
