Yes, I'd get everyone out of Comet who has access to that dir. A snapshot of the qdir is taken at the start of the rebuild so anything done to it during the rebuild would be lost.
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
