Too many things going on yesterday and I let this clumsily slip through, but it does compile:
IF USSLSTX EQ 1 AND ZZ1DIV$ EQ 'US' EQ '' THEN
should be
IF USSLSTX EQ 1 AND ZZ1DIV$ EQ 'US' AND CSLSTXUS$ EQ ' ' THEN
