actually there's some bigger problem.... yesterday's fix was to use another terminal
today... none of the terminals can run the COMET program RP to print the invoices... I'm pretty sure that RP (Printing invoices) is the only program that uses this printer, since it's setup with invoice forms all day... never changes.
starting to look like it's just a dying Okidata 321 Turbo (probably 10+ years old)... dunno
the salient facts are that we can't even print from Notepad... so I don't think it's any COMET problem. when I print from Notepad, I get a message that the print failed.... I can see it in the print queue, but it's marked failed.
I've unplugged and re-seated all the cables (power and data), to no avail.
guess we'll have to assemble a posse... mayhem awaits!
