Mea culpa! Holy Cosw! I looked at that doc 3 times and never "saw" that option. As a matter of fact I don't recall ever knowing about it. I asked Brian. He determined that it seems it will only work for the location of CosWGlob.ini, not CosW.ini. In the .476 Comet32 release we introduced 2 new environment variables that can be used to change the location of where the Comet executable files are copied to and where CosW.ini is located:
Comet will now make use of optional Windows environment variables for your Comet installation: %COMETPROGS% and %COMETDATA%.
COMETPROGS - For Comet programs - tells Comet.exe where to copy the executables to
COMETDATA - For Comet data files such as CosW.ini and the logs
By default, Comet uses folders under AppData\Local. This new optional method can be useful for those installations using roaming profiles.
Are you sure you want to do this???
Each file can be a maximum of 1MB in length Uploaded files will be purged from the server on a regular basis.
